Six Sentence Sunday...

Welcome back to another Six Sentence Sunday! We're picking up right where we left off last week with our heroine about to walk off the shuttle to meet her newly assigned husband in my Witness Protection/Arranged Marriage in the depths of outer space scenario...

Two quick pieces of wonderous news this week, firstly my cover for Flesh arrived, you can admire it to your right. And secondly Flesh came 1st in the Stroke of Midnight competition's fantasty/futuristic/sci-fi section. So yes, a very cool week all up. Hope yours was just as shiny!

Louise, not Jo, walked down the shuttle gang-way. Jo was long gone. She was Louise Foster, wife of Gideon, and she could do this.
She took her first step onto the uneven ground, knees liquid and nerves lapsed. Gravel slid beneath her feet and she pitched forward with all balance gone, the ground rushing up to meet her.
And just as suddenly it jolted to a stop.

  1. Congrats on your cover and for coming in 1st at the contest! WOOT WOOT :)

Interesting six...who or what stopped her fall? Hope you follow up next week where you left off!

  2. I love the motion in this; you've put me right in her body and mind. Fantastic six, Kylie! (And congrats on the contest and, once again, on that lurvely cover!)

  3. Really nice six. Pulled me right in. And I love arranged marriages/forced proximity stories. The possibilities are endless! Great job!

  4. Congratulations on the new cover! How exciting. And congrats on the contest, too.

Why did she suddenly regain her balance... hmm... intersting six!

  5. Amazing cover for Flesh! Congrats! And awesome six...very descriptive!
