Six Sentence Sunday

Welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday. We’re keeping on with Flesh this week with one of my favourite parts of the book for fun. To set the scene, our heroine is sitting atop our recumbent hero. Ali has just discovered Dan was injured earlier in the day, having found an almighty bruise on his ribs. She’s trying to assess how badly he’s hurt but he’s far more interested in other things...

Ali scowled, wrestled back her hands and set them by his head. “Why can’t you give me a straight answer?”
“Why can’t you ride me like a pony?” He scowled straight back at her, unrepentant. “Don’t pretty girls like ponies? I thought they did.”

  1. Awesome scene. One that had me chuckling! Loved it! Love Daniel. Love his sense of humour. Where can I get a man like him :-)

(How's that for Six Sentence Sunday? and no, you can't count this one, K.)

  2. Love this, great interaction between them, great sense of humor.

  3. Dan! Loved this book. I think everyone should go read it:D

  4. I just finished reading this part. Love. This. Book!!

  5. Sigh, why can't men say romantic things like 'ride me like a pony' to me. Is it too much to ask?
