I love Erica Hayes. I’d like to say that my love for Erica, or ‘my cute little baby bunny rabbit from hell’ as I like to refer to her, is a pure and lovely thing. But it’s not. It’s smutty and shameless. And it’s ALL about her books. Because her books are gritty, action packed affairs just littered with hot men and steamy romance. They’re also beautifully written, but you know, HOT MEN. It really doesn’t get much more important than that, let's not fool ourselves. What have I got to say, you ask? Well, I'm visiting Kylie's blog because… uh. Well. My last book featured zombies?!? … Hmm. A tenuous connection at best. Because I, too, write hot sex scenes in less-than-sanitary settings?!? That could be it.

Truth is, I was hanging out on Twitter sounding lonesome, so Kylie invited me over to her blog for chips and beer. And I never left. Erica, the house guest from hell. Whaddaya mean, we're out of peanuts? Move over, will you?

Anyhoo. I thought that if you like Kylie's books, you might enjoy mine, too. We both have that end-of-the-world vibe going, with monsters vs. survivors and worldwide carnage. We both have romance against the odds, adversaries to lovers, the old rules of society discarded in favour of new, and strange behaviour all round.

But compared to what you find in Skin and Flesh, the Apocalypse in my Seven Signs series is a little more flashy and Las Vegas. Costume-fetish demons, a plague of hideous vampires, angels with flaming swords, blood in the water and the sky raining fire.
