Six Sentence Sunday with SKIN.

Welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday and Happy New Year! Today we’ve got a kiss from SKIN the upcoming sequel to FLESH. Here’s the blurb in case you don’t know the story...

Six months since the zombie plague struck, former librarian Roslyn Stewart has been holed up in a school with eight other survivors. But now the shelves in the school canteen are bare. The stranger at the gate has supplies that will ensure the group’s ongoing survival, but at a cost. He wants a woman.

A frown puckered her brow and she tried to twist away again. His hand tightened in her hair and his mouth followed her. He kissed the edge of her lips, so sweet. There’d never been anything like it. She stuttered out a breath and made a tiny noise. It sounded a bit like a distressed hiccup.

  4. A distressed hiccup... not sure if that's a good sign or a bad one. She certainly doesn't give the impression of wanting his lips on hers.
