Today we have my mate
Mel Teshco up to give us a quick run down of her 2012 and to let us know what
we have to look forward to from her in 2013. For those of you unfamiliar with
Mel’s work, she writes smokin’ hot erotic romances – mostly for Ellora’s Cave.
And she’s ace at it. So without further ado, let’s hear from Mel…
That things
don’t always go to plan! And to brush off the bad stuff that happens and look
ahead, never back. And learn from those mistakes =)
What were some of
your highlights of 2012?
Seeing what
started as an anthology come into fruition as a collection of short stories
through Momentum. Phew! And meeting some fellow erotic writers at a retreat I
organized at Montville was pretty cool too! Was good to hear from other writers
about publishers etc.
What have you got
planned for 2013, publishing or otherwise?
I mostly want to
finish a single title that’s bugging me LOL! Other than that, write lots more of
hopefully quality stories to build a fan base and earn a living from writing!
Any movies, books and
suchlike being released in 2013 that you're really looking forward to?
I’ve been
waiting for the latest Resident Evil to be released on DVD and can’t wait to
see The Host, one of my all time fav books. Will be interesting to see how the
whole thing will be interpreted on film.
Akeisha is on a mission to be chosen as part of a harem for the desert king, Judas. She’ll use her body to entice and beguile, do anything it takes to save the near-extinct larakytes, her shape-shifting silver panther tribe, from Judas’ human subjects, who are trying to eradicate them.
She never expects to succumb to the wild ecstasy in his arms, a pleasure that threatens to expose her inner cat even as it transcends anything she’s ever felt from one of her own kind.
Falling in love with a human enemy was never part of the plan, but maybe there’s more to Judas than meets the eye.
A Romantica® erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave
Kristen Treymore isn't living anymore – she's existing.
Trapped in marriage to Jack, an alcoholic who uses his fists to communicate, Kristen has given up her freedom in an attempt to protect his daughter.
When Conrad Doyle, childhood friend and the man whose heart she unwittingly broke, shows up on Kristen's doorstep and offers her a lifeline, she can't refuse.
What she never dreams possible is how much she still wants him—but is that enough to keep them together when terror still beats deep in her heart?
This story is rated "Medium Hot" (3 out of 5 flames) and contains F/M pairings.
