A look at 'Room Service' by Vanessa Stark...

Today I’d like you to meet debut Australian Romance Writer, VanessaStark, who recently shared a release day with me. Her romance novella ‘Room Service’ is about an erotic writer who just so happens to be a virgin. Are you intrigued yet? Isn’t that a great premise? And how about the gorgeous cover? RAWR!

Take it away, Vanessa...

Last August (2012) I experienced my first Romance Writers of Australia conference on the Gold Coast at the QT. What a weekend. I met so many fantastic writers and professionals, and came away with great new friends and a wealth of knowledge. I also came away with inspiration for a story - a story about a best-selling erotic romance writer with a deep dark secret and the hot hotel employee who just might be able to help her with it!

Two months later, I finished my novella and sent it off to the lovely Kate Cuthbert at Escape Publishing who then made my dream of being published come true by offering to buy my manuscript!

Room Service, my erotic romance novella is out on the 1st of February 2013 and I have RWA to thank for it. So if anybody out there has any doubts about attending their first conference, push those fears aside and do it! You never know, you may even make a first sale out of it.

Although she is a best-selling author of erotic romance, Natasha Raven has never penned a sex scene. Her sister, Liza, was responsible for the sizzle in Natasha's books – until she passed away only months ago. Now Natasha must write the scenes herself. Trouble is, she hasn't a clue what to write and being a virgin doesn't help.

When she is invited to speak at a conference workshop titled 'From Your Sheets to the Page,' Natasha panics. But a suggestive wink from a young hotel staffer named Jace gives her an idea. But will she go through with it? And is Jace all that he seems?
