GIVEAWAY of "Pursuit" by Caitlyn Nicholas...

Legendary hacker, Dimity Pond, is on the run from the law.
Her landlord’s sold her home, her money has disappeared along with her two-timing husband, a cyber-terrorist named Nemesis is forcing her to wreak havoc with a nasty virus and she's developing a vile migraine.
Six years ago, Nemesis framed Dimity for the collapse of one of Europe's biggest banks. The money was never found, and the bank's failure caused untold damage to its customers. She's been living under the radar ever since. The only way she can clear her name and live a normal life is to uncover Nemesis's identity, but he's always one step ahead.
Since Lord Richard Summerhayes left the Special Forces he's built the best disaster-recovery network in the world, known as The Bunker. Banks, militaries, airports and other major systems around the world rely on him as the last unshakeable digital fortress in the face of disaster. Richard has been keeping an eye on his neighbor who has a dubious hacking past. He doesn't like hackers, and when someone nukes his network with an intriguing new virus he knows exactly who to blame. But when he confronts her, he gets a whole lot more than he bargained for.
When Nemesis commits an unthinkable act of terrorism, the last hope is an encrypted file that only Dimity can crack. Will Nemesis manipulate Dimity into helping him wipe out the world's biggest financial center? Or can Richard and Dimity take Nemesis down once and for all?

“Oh Sarah Easton ——” A cold digital voice mocked her. “It’s about to begin. Send the virus.”
Cold horror washed over Dimity. She jabbed the phone’s off button and dropped it on the table.
A noise, the rough grate of wood on metal, startled her. Numbers curled across her mind as a migraine inched closer.
“It’s the stove.” She spoke out loud, to break the quiet.
Beau – the labrador – cozy and content at the base of the wood-burning stove, continued to sleep as if he’d spent the morning chasing rabbits.
Which he hadn’t.
Unless bacon was involved, Beau never ran.
The silence of the house closed back around her.
She scooped up the phone, hesitating, waiting, and hoping the suffocating dread would dissipate. It didn’t. Then she hooked the handset back into its base, flicked open the dishwasher and unloaded the dirty cups and glasses she’d stacked there in a rare burst of domesticity that morning.
Someone hammered on the front door. A thick white mug, with the faded words Nerd Girl on it, slipped from her fingers, bounced off the side of the dishwasher door and shattered into a thousand pieces on the floor.
Jake? It couldn’t be him. He had a key and was in the south of France. But no one ever came to visit, she made sure of it.
The person hammered again.
“Shit,” she muttered. “This stupid life.”

A Cheat Sheet for LICK.

I usually do a Cheat Sheet for my new releases. Apologies for running late with LICK, my NA contemporary rock star book. I've been having a few formatting etc issues with the blog, as you can see by some of the crazy font size crap going on below. Anyway, here's a quickie cheat sheet for you to take the edge off. Hope you like it. (WARNING: Some mild spoilering and lady bird porn included.)

Once upon a time, a girl named Evelyn went to Vegas to celebrate her 21st birthday and wound up having ALL the drinks. And I do mean, ALL of them. Now Vegas is a pretty big town. So it's not really surprising what happened next.
Yes, she woke up in the morning in a bit of a mess. (No way was her hair that nice, either. That is complete bullshit.) And also...
An amazingly hot guy was sitting with her on the bathroom floor. Now, that was pretty damn surprising. But what really freaked her out was the...

Huge diamond ring on her finger. They'd gotten married last night. Surprise! I know right? She was less than happy. The girl had plans. So they quickly decided upon divorce or annulment or whatever it was people did in that situation. Then they went their separate ways. But when she got back home...
There were paparazzi everywhere! What the heck? You see, it turned out that she had married...
A Rock Star! OMG did you see that coming? I totally didn't. Anyhoo, her life was shot to shit by her sudden fame and her parents were less than impressed. David the rockstar invited her to his place in L.A. while they dealt with the divorce and all. Needing to get away from both her parents and the reporters (and other assorted weirdos now camped outside her house), she went.
Due to the crazy party scene in L.A. and various people’s delicate little feelings getting hurt, there was then a fight scene or two.
But then Ev and David left L.A. and got to know each other. They talked and stuff. Soon, they found that they felt quite differently toward each other than they had previously.
Seriously differently feelings. (Can you believe this full on ladybird action? The things they're probably up to out in your very own garden right now!)
But then a tentacle wielding sea monster came between David and Evelyn ... or it was an ex type monster. I don't mind, you choose. So she manipulated shit and things happened. But there's wasn't any cheating. Don't worry. I'm not down with that.
And David had to learn the fine, timeless art of the grovel in order to get her back. Don't you love it when guys have to do that? I do.
Anyway, more stuff happened and then there was a Happy Ever After. NOT a cliffy. And that's roughly the idea behind the book done in pretty pictures. I know, not much of the story there really. But you know what? The book only costs about $4. Go buy it. xx

DISGUSTING.

A smutty snippet from LICK for your Sunday pleasure.

Time for the Sunday snippet. Today I have a wee bit of a sexy time scene for you from LICK, my NA out 1st July. (It's now up for pre-order on Amazon.) If you’re unfamiliar with the storyline, here’s the quickie blurb….

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hang-over to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man beside her, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

I felt all lit up inside. Like a potent mix of hormones was racing through me at light speed. His other hand curled around the back of my neck, bringing my mouth to his. Kissing David threw kerosene on the mix within me. He slid his tongue into my mouth to stroke against my own, before teasing over my teeth and lips. I’d never felt anything so fine. Fingers caressed my breast, doing wonderful things and making me gasp. God, the heat of his bare skin. I shuffled forward, seeking more, needing it. His hand left my breast to splay across my back, pressing me against him. He was hard. I could feel him through both layers of denim. The pressure that provided between my legs was heavenly. Amazing.
“That’s it,” he murmured as I rocked against him, seeking more.
